Who is
Will Franklin?
Early Roots

Will Franklin’s journey began in the Texas Hill Country, where he was raised with a strong work ethic and a commitment to personal responsibility. At 18, Will’s first vote was deeply personal—cast in a local school board election to help elect his father, underscoring the importance of civic engagement and the community values that have shaped his life. An honors student at the University of Texas at Austin, Will launched his career in Midland, Texas, working in the oil and gas industry, a cornerstone of Texas’s economic strength.

While in Midland, Will became a mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters, dedicated to making a difference in a young person’s life. Around this time, he married his college sweetheart, Liz, and together they began a lifelong commitment to the Hill Country Youth Ranch, a non-profit that provides a safe and nurturing home for children in need.
